Aims and objectives
The Unit aims to equip the students with the knowledge and hands-on skills of planning and designing a research project that addresses industry issues and public concerns and developing an action plan to accomplish the research.
Students who successfully complete this Unit should be able to:
1. Identify an issue in aviation science that enables in-depth research to be conducted
2. Formulate and define research question(s)
3. Justify the rationale of undertaking the research
4. Determine the research methodology appropriate for data collection and analysis
5. Develop an action plan to accomplish the research within timeline
