Swinburne Online - online delivery only – Blended learning – on-campus and digital learning

BA-BUS10S Degrees and double degrees Send me a link to this course

The online Bachelor of Business degree features many of the attributes of the on-campus course although the capstone subjects are run in a way more suited to virtual teamwork.

From the outset, Swinburne’s Bachelor of Business challenges you to be innovative, to make a positive social impact and, to be clear on how you can contribute as an individual and as part of a team in government, for-profit and for-purpose businesses.

Select a major area of specialisation and combine it with your core business studies to become an entrepreneurial thinker and business innovator.

Build up your CV with real industry experience while you study through our Work Integrated Learning programs, which are a guaranteed part of all our bachelor degrees and can include placementsinternships or industry-linked projects.

In this degree’s Industry Consulting Project (BUS30009), one of our industry partners will put forward a real problem. Finding solutions will require you to put what you’ve learned into practice. You’ll team up with other students to analyse the issue and propose solutions back to your client.

Advanced Business Practice (BUS30024) teaches you to tackle problems and opportunities with holistic thinking. In this unit, you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to find innovative, creative, and practical business solutions, that also consider ethical business practices and sustainability goals.

Industry accreditation:

  • Graduates with an Accounting major may be eligible to apply for membership of CPA Australia (CPAA), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
