Our mission

Swinburne Quantum nexus is the catalyst for discovery, translation and impact.

In alignment with Australia's National Quantum Strategy and supported by Quantum Australia, the Nexus aims to strengthen national capability, develop the quantum workforce, and build global partnerships—positioning Swinburne University of Technology and Australia as leaders in the emerging quantum economy.

We facilitate the growth of quantum technology, strengthen existing industry relationships, build new partnerships, and identify innovative funding opportunities.

Our research capabilities

Building on the world-class leadership and capabilities of Swinburne University of Technology, our research fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration across computing, engineering, physics, and industry-focused domains to address real-world challenges through quantum-enabled solutions.
