Swinburne University of Technology will observe the National Public Holiday on Thursday 22 September 2022 for the National Day of Mourning. Classes have been either rescheduled or cancelled.
Swinburne students have been contacted directly around the changes to their teaching schedule. Swinburne staff with teaching commitments will be contacted directly. Sessional staff whose class has been cancelled will be paid as per their normal roster for Thursday 22 September.
Sessional staff whose classes will be rescheduled to another time will be paid when their class has been delivered within that pay period.
We encourage our Swinburne staff and student community to use the National Day of Mourning as a time of reflection.
