Swinburne University of Technology has begun the search for our next Vice-Chancellor.
Professor Linda Kristjanson AO, who has led Swinburne since 2011, will retire in 2020.
“Linda leads Swinburne with vision and distinction,” says Chancellor, Professor John Pollaers OAM.
“Our next Vice-Chancellor has a tremendous opportunity to build on our culture of great ambition and success as we remain focused on achieving the goals we have set ourselves in our 2025 Strategy.”
Swinburne is looking for a visionary leader to champion transformative learning experiences, advance research-led innovation and extend the university’s global networks.
“We are looking for someone who will guide our diverse community with experience, dedication and creativity, driving continued innovation and achievement in all we do,” says Professor Pollaers.
The university is working with executive search firm Odgers Berndston across the recruitment process and the successful candidate will be chosen by members of Swinburne Council.
Applications are open until Friday 17 January 2020, with an announcement due later in the year.
