Swinburne's global innovation ecosystem

We connect, collaborate, question and create, breaking down barriers between students and employers and between research and industry; creating seamless experiences between university and the world at large.

With our students, alumni and partners we are building a global innovation ecosystem, creating social and economic impact.

Swinburne research drives commercial success. We establish and support companies in new technologies, and we are building new industries.

As a dual sector provider, we make connections across the traditional boundaries of education and work. We are fostering deep connections, unearthing enterprising ideas, driving change and making a difference to the communities we serve.

Melbourne, Australia

Swinburne’s Hawthorn campus is just 10 minutes by train from Melbourne’s CBD and an enviable array of food, culture, scenery and sport. Melbourne regularly tops the Economist Intelligence Unit’s global liveability index as the world’s most liveable city.

Regret nothing

Our students don’t just sign on for university, they strap in for a Swinburne experience. They learn from passionate teachers, work with industry and use ground-breaking technology. This is a time they'll never repeat. So, we help them make it everything they want it to be.
