Discover the incredible journey of Australian seeds that travelled to the International Space Station and back as part of Mission Sprouts. Learn how astronauts conduct science in space, what life is like aboard the ISS, and why researchers are exploring how plants grow in microgravity to help shape the future of space exploration.
Supported by the Australian Space Agency, this interactive livestream features special pre-recorded messages from some of Australia's leading space experts, including Australian of the Year Katherine Bennell-Pegg.
Perfect for primary and secondary classrooms, this session will take students behind the scenes of a real Australian space mission, showcase the results from the space-flown seeds, and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and explorers through one of Australia's most exciting space education projects.
