Note: 2020 Summer and Winter Term units will be published when re-enrolments open, from Tuesday 22 October 2019.
How many units you can study
Because class contact hours for Summer or Winter Term units are intensive, you're only allowed to study up to two units in a Summer or Winter Term.
Most units are delivered on-campus, with a few select units available online.
International students on a student visa (ESOS): As of 1 January 2018, you can only complete a maximum of one-third of your course online. If you exceed this limit, Swinburne will remove you from online unit(s) until you meet this requirement. Remember, you must always maintain a full-time study load across the year and in each compulsory study period for a course, you must be studying at least one unit that is not by distance or online learning.
