Professor Qing-Long HanPro Vice-Chancellor (Research Quality)
Professor Qing-Long Han was appointed to the position of Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Quality) in May 2016.
Professor Han is responsible for coordinating Swinburne’s research performance and research quality improvement initiatives. In his role, Professor Han will help strengthen our focus on research quality through engagement with faculties and centres to identify and implement quality indicators across disciplines and manage quality development initiatives including mentoring and early career researcher development workshops.
Professor Han is an internationally recognised leader in Control Theory and Control Engineering, and is listed by Thomson Reuters as one of only six Highly Cited (Hi Ci) engineering researchers in Australia, and included in the Thomson Reuters’ The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds: 2014 and 2015.
