Siemens Healthineers Engineering Technology (Electrical) Scholarship 2026

This scholarship supports a student enrolled in either an eligible Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree or the Advanced Diploma Engineering Technology-Electrical (VE) to the value of $7,500 for one year. Additionally, an opportunity for paid work experience with Siemens Healthineers is offered.

This scholarship is valued at $7,500 for one year only.


Courses eligible

  • Final year of the Advanced Diploma Engineering Technology - Electrical
  • Final year of the Associate Degree of Engineering with one of the following Majors:
    • Electrical
    • Mechatronics
  • Third or final year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Professional) degree with one of the following majors:
    • Electrical and Electronic
    • Biomedical
    • Robotics and Mechatronics

Eligibility / selection criteria

To be eligible for the Siemens Healthineers Engineering Technology (Electrical) Scholarship, applicants must:

  1. Meet the following criteria:
    • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
    • preference will be given to students who identify as female
  2. Meet the following enrolment criteria​​​​:
    • be a Swinburne student in Semester 1, 2026
    • enrolled full-time or part-time in an eligible course (see courses eligible in section above)
    • studying on-campus
  3. Provide a personal statement of up to 500 words or a short video (maximum 2 minutes) addressing:
    • a passion for your chosen course
    • why you would value the work experience opportunity at Siemens Healthineers

      Upload your video to cloud based storage (google drive/one drive/drop box) and provide the link in a MS Word or PDF document. Ensure the video is downloadable by anyone and not access restricted.
  4. Provide a resume or curriculum vitae (CV)

Value

The scholarship is valued at $7,500 for one year only, paid bi-annually.

Recipient will also have the opportunity for paid work experience at Siemens Healthineers.
