Pridmore Scholarships for Women in STEM 2026
The Pridmore Scholarships comprise three scholarships offered to female first year enrolled students in either Vocational Education and Training (VET) or Higher Education studying STEM.
Generously funded from the estate of Fannie Pridmore, these scholarships are valued at $7,500 per annum for the duration of the course, up to three years.
This scholarship is valued at up to $22,500 with $7,500 paid annually for up to three years.
Courses eligible
Any Vocational Education and Training (VET) or Undergraduate course (including double degrees) offered by Swinburne University of Technology in STEM:
- Science
- Technology
- Engineering
- Mathematics
Eligibility / selection criteria
To be eligible for the Pridmore Scholarships, applicants must:
- Meet the following criteria:
- Female
- Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident
- Meet the following enrolment criteria:
- be a commencing first year Swinburne student in Semester 1, 2026
- enrolled full-time in an eligible course (see courses eligible in section above)
- studying on-campus
- Submit a personal statement of up to 500 words addressing:
- interest in your chosen field of study
- career aspirations
- how this scholarship would make a difference in your life
Value
The scholarship is valued at $7,500 per year, paid bi-annually for up to three years.
