Freemasons Foundation Victoria Scholarship 2026
The Freemasons Foundation Victoria Scholarships aim to support access to higher education for undergraduate students facing educational disadvantage and who contribute to their community. Freemasons Foundation Victoria is the trustee of two major charitable trusts with the vision to contribute to a better Victoria through charitable support and community involvement.
Since November 2014, Freemasons Foundation Victoria has assisted the youth of Victoria to achieve their educational goals by awarding over $1.9m in scholarships and awards. For Freemasons, greatness in life is measured by deed, character, charity, trust and the positive effect one leaves on this world through generosity of spirit.

Freemasons Foundation Victoria is offering two scholarships valued at $7,500 each for one year.
Courses eligible
Any undergraduate degree or vocational education course offered by Swinburne University of Technology.
Eligibility / selection criteria
To be eligible for the Freemasons Foundation Victoria Scholarship, applicants must:
- Meet the following criteria:
- an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident.
- Meet the following enrolment criteria:
- be a first year commencing Swinburne student in Semester 1, 2026. (Preference given to Year 12 school leavers)
- enrolled full-time in any undergraduate degree or vocational education course offered by Swinburne University of Technology
- studying on-campus or online
- Demonstrated community/leadership experience such as through volunteering, sports coaching and/or community service
- Submit a personal statement (500 words) addressing the following points:
- interest in your chosen field of study
- your volunteering/leadership experience in the community
- how this scholarship would make a difference in your life
- Provide evidence of educational disadvantage, which may fall under the categories listed below. To assist you, we’ve included a link to the VTAC website for further guidance on preparing your evidence.

Difficult family and life circumstances
- Provide a written reference from a teacher, community leader, or employer.
Note: referees cannot be a family member or friend.
Value
This scholarship is valued at $7,500 for one year only, paid bi-annually.
There are two (2) scholarships available in 2026.
