Stanley Liebich Memorial Scholarship 2026

The Stanley Liebich Memorial Scholarship was first established in December 1940, in memory of the late Stanley Ormond Crossley Liebich.

This scholarship supports a student from a disadvantaged background enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree, who progressed from the Associate Degree in Engineering OR Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology.

This scholarship is valued at $7,500 for one year only.

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and progressed from the Associate Degree in Engineering OR Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology.

To be eligible for the Stanley Liebich Memorial Scholarship, applicants must:

1. Meet the following enrolment criteria:
   • Enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) commencing in Semester 1, 2026
   • Must have progressed from the Associate Degree in Engineering OR Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology prior to Bachelor of Engineering course.
   • Enrolled full time
   • Studying on-campus
2. Submit a personal statement of up to 500 words to demonstrate educational disadvantage.
    
3. Provide evidence of educational disadvantage, which may fall under the categories listed below. To assist you, we’ve included a link to the VTAC website for further guidance on preparing your evidence.
    

   Personal information and location
   Financial hardship
   Living with a disability or medical condition
   Difficult family and life circumstances

The scholarship is valued at $7,500 for one year only, paid bi-annually.

Opening in August 2025.
