Stanley Liebich Memorial Scholarship 2026
The Stanley Liebich Memorial Scholarship was first established in December 1940, in memory of the late Stanley Ormond Crossley Liebich.
This scholarship supports a student from a disadvantaged background enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree, who progressed from the Associate Degree in Engineering OR Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology.
This scholarship is valued at $7,500 for one year only.
Courses eligible
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and progressed from the Associate Degree in Engineering OR Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology.
Eligibility / selection criteria
To be eligible for the Stanley Liebich Memorial Scholarship, applicants must:
- Meet the following enrolment criteria:
- Enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) commencing in Semester 1, 2026
- Must have progressed from the Associate Degree in Engineering OR Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology prior to Bachelor of Engineering course.
- Enrolled full time
- Studying on-campus
- Submit a personal statement of up to 500 words to demonstrate educational disadvantage.
- Provide evidence of educational disadvantage, which may fall under the categories listed below. To assist you, we’ve included a link to the VTAC website for further guidance on preparing your evidence.

The scholarship is valued at $7,500 for one year only, paid bi-annually.
