Swinburne Indigenous 'Try Online' Scholarship

This scholarship is offered by Swinburne, funded by the Commonwealth Higher Education Participation Program. The scholarship is for an undergraduate Indigenous student undertaking a bachelor degree through Swinburne Online, for studies undertaken in 2019.

Courses eligible

Eligibility / selection criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • Be accepted into a Bachelor degree offered by Swinburne Online and commence studies in 2019
  • Submit the contact details for one referee to support your application.


The value of the scholarship is a fee waiver for two units in total any degree offered by Swinburne Online.

How to apply

Applicants must complete and submit the online application form (Select 'Swinburne Indigenous 'Try Online' Scholarship' from the dropdown menu) and provide all supporting documentation by:

Friday 22 March for Teaching Period 1

Friday 02 August for Teaching Period 2

Friday 11 October for Teaching Period 3
