Swinburne Chinese Studies Scholarships
This Scholarship recognises the academic achievements of students enrolled in a Chinese Language course. The objective of the Scholarship is to enable young people to realise their full academic potential and to encourage them to further their studies of language and culture at Swinburne.
Courses eligible
CHI10005 Elementary Chinese A and CHI10006 Elementary Chinese B
OR
CHI20001 Intermediate Chinese A and CHI20002 Intermediate Chinese B
Eligibility / selection criteria
Applicants must be:
1. Undertaking a full-time Higher Education program at Swinburne.
2. Successful in completing and obtaining the highest mark in:
- CHI10005 Elementary Chinese A and CHI10006 Elementary Chinese B
OR
- CHI20001 Intermediate Chinese A and CHI20002 Intermediate Chinese B
3. Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, holders of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa or holders of an Australian temporary student visa.
4. The Scholarships may be held in addition to other scholarships
5. Recipients of the Scholarships may be eligible for only one more Language Scholarship (of the same category) in the subsequent year/s that they are offered.
Value
Two scholarships valued at $500 each.

No application required. Eligibility for this award is by nomination only. Scholarship recipients will be selected at the end of the year after results release.
