This Scholarship recognises the academic achievements of students enrolled in an Italian Language course. The objective of the Scholarship is to enable young people to realise their full academic potential and to encourage them to further their studies of language and culture at Swinburne.

Courses eligible

Any undergraduate course at Swinburne but with successful completion and demonstration of outstanding commitment in:

  • ITA10003 Introductory Italian A and ITA10004 Introductory Italian, OR
  • ITA20009 Intermediate Italian A and ITA20010 Intermediate Italian B

Eligibility / selection criteria

Applicants must be:

  1. Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, holders of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa or holders of an Australian temporary student visa.
  2. Undertaking a full-time undergraduate course at Swinburne.
  3. Successful in completing and demonstrating outstanding commitment in:
  • ITA10003 Introductory Italian A and ITA10004 Introductory Italian, OR
  • ITA20009 Intermediate Italian A and ITA20010 Intermediate Italian B

Value

Two scholarships valued at $500 each.

No application required. Eligibility for this award is by nomination only. Scholarship recipients will be selected at the end of the year after results release.
