Exploring different options led Daniel Eastwood-Whitaker to an exciting career abroad. Daniel joined QBE Insurance in Hong Kong as an intern and now leads information technology and finance projects in the Asia Pacific region.
Daniel completed a semester of engineering and a semester of aviation management before settling on his double degree. He excelled at university, winning an Emerging Leader Award and the Top Graduate Prize. As the recipient of a New Colombo Plan Scholarship in 2014, he spent six months studying in China and secured his careerstarting QBE internship. Daniel says exploring his options at Swinburne helped him discover his interests and strengths.
