Swinburne Foundation Year (Science / Engineering) (12 months) is a pre-university program for international students. It is designed to help students meet the entry requirements for first-year university or progress to a UniLink diploma.

Students will develop fundamental communication, information technology (IT) and finite mathematics skills. They will also undertake units in physics, chemistry and science / engineering mathematics.

It can equip students for further studies in a range of science and engineering-related areas, such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, aviation, photonics, biotechnology or telecommunication and internet technologies.
