The Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Advanced) offers participants the opportunity to gain specialist knowledge and research skills in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. Entrepreneurial management requires a high degree of knowledge in many areas through interdisciplinary teaching. The course is tailored for both those who want to create new enterprises and those who want to bring new attitudes and possibilities to existing ventures. The skills involved are common to all sizes of organisations, whether public sector, private sector to non-profit.
This postgraduate program provides a unique opportunity for students to gain specialised entrepreneurship and innovation knowledge through research. In the research component, students have the opportunity to apply and extend the knowledge gained throughout their studies by understanding and applying the research process. This option is intended for students who want to focus on a particular area of their career or consultancy, or as preparation for their PhD.
The Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Advanced) forms the third stage in a three-stage nested suite of programs consisting of:
^ Students are unable to enrol directly into the Graduate Diploma of Entrepreneurship and Innovation but it is available as an exit award.
A student cannot be awarded two masters level courses from the same nested suite.
This course is for working professionals. That’s why we offer it in Intensive Mode. It’s an efficient and faster way to complete a postgraduate qualification with minimal impact on your professional and personal life. Units (subjects) are either delivered after work hours or on Fridays or Saturdays, and run throughout the year in six week teaching periods instead of the usual 12 week semesters. This means you can complete more units and graduate faster, or take breaks when you need to.
