If you want to design and develop interactive experiences, the Diploma of Digital and Interactive Games is for you.
This course will take you beyond playing games. You’ll learn from teachers who work in the gaming industry and work with cutting edge game-building software, Unreal Engine 4.
Develop the industry-relevant skills you need to bring big ideas to life, including 2D illustration, 3D modelling, animation, video composition, particle effects, visual programming, game development, documentation and project management.
You’ll visit The Arcade, an indie game development hub in Melbourne, to learn about the industry. As you build a portfolio of work, you’ll learn how to use software such as Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk 3ds Max, Unreal Engine 4 and Adobe After Effects. You may even get to showcase your work at PAX Australia!By the time you graduate, you’ll be ready to pursue a career as a game developer for online and mobile platforms.
