Graduates may have the opportunity to work in a number of support roles in the areas of network administration, IT help desk support officer. Alternatively, students should be well prepared to continue into the Diploma of Information Technology Networking.
Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include: network support, network operations support, network operations technician, network technician, and network support technician.
Aims and objectives
This course describes the skills and knowledge required to select cloud computing solutions, or traditional networking solutions based on the analysis of organisational requirements. It includes the development of implementation strategies to ensure that the organisation is prepared for the implementation of the selected solutions.
This course applies to individuals who undertake the evaluation of organisational requirements and plan the implementation for the organisation of both traditional networking solutions and more recent Cloud Computing solutions.
