In the Certificate IV of Education Support you’ll learn how to work alongside a teacher to guide and facilitate learning in a range of educational settings. Develop the skills needed to support students in literacy and numeracy, and to work with students with a specific learning need or disability.
In this course, you’ll gain hands-on experience through a practical placement designed to enhance your learning and employability.
This course aims to provide graduates with the skills, knowledge and values to work in the education environment as a teacher aide. You’ll also learn how to support students with individual learning or behavioural needs.

You may be entitled to apply for a fee concession if you meet the eligibility criteria. Concession rates usually provide eligible students with a discount on Swinburne’s standard tuition fees for a range of vocational education (TAFE) qualifications.
