The Certificate IV in Digital and Interactive Games is suitable for those who want to learn game theory and how to create interactive games, 3D characters, environments, and games assets and user interfaces. Students also learn 2D concept art and animation, game development, programming in the Unreal game engine, and game design documentation. The course provides students with the skills and knowledge to become concept artists, 3D modellers, 2D and 3D animators, and game developers. Students will also be prepared to progress to further study in interactive games.

Concession rates for Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs are also available to Aboriginals or Torres Strait Islanders or Youth Concession students enrolled prior to 1 July 2012 and continuing the same course in 2013.
