Course description
Recent years have seen the ubiquitous rise of cloud networks, wireless networks, data storage and now, the Internet of Everything looms large on the horizon. This has led to a high demand for skilled workers in the field of network and data security, often termed “Cyber Security.”
The Certificate IV in Cyber Security provides an entry point for a student to learn about, and become both knowledgeable and skilled in some of the fundamentals of Cyber Security. Key units taught in Cyber Security include utilising basic network concepts and protocols, basic cyber security data analysis, exposing website security vulnerabilities and implementing network security infrastructure for an organisation. Some prior knowledge of Operating Systems and networking would be an advantage, but there is no prerequisite to enrolling in this course.
