If you’ve completed your pre-apprenticeship, get set to apply your electrical trade and gain the skills and knowledge required to become a licensed electrician with our Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
Through practical and theory-based learning, develop the skills to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in people’s homes, offices and businesses.
You’ll cover units on areas like how to apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace through to how to test and connect transformers.
Upon graduating, you will have fulfilled a key requirement of Energy Safe Victoria’s requirements for an electrician’s license.
Choose to start work as a licenced electrician, or forge on to complete further studies in solar power, grid-connected renewable energy systems, home automation, programmable logic controller (PLC), and motor control – and see how your career opportunities keep lighting up.
