‌Associate Professor Diane Sivasubramaniam's research focuses on the social psychology of procedural and distributive justice, with applications in restorative justice, jury decision making, and interrogations.

Diane was awarded her PhD from the University of New South Wales in 2006. Before moving to Swinburne University, she completed Postdoctoral Fellowships at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Barnard College, Columbia University, and was an Assistant Professor at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) in Canada.
