Good Universities Guide 2020 gives Swinburne five stars

Swinburne has received a 5-Star Overall Experience Rating for the second consecutive year in the Good Universities Guide (GUG) 2020.
The 5-Star rating places Swinburne in the top 20 per cent of universities in Australia.
Of the Swinburne students surveyed, 80.7 per cent reported they were satisfied with the overall quality of their educational experience at Swinburne.
Overall, 81.6 per cent of Swinburne students also reported satisfaction with the quality of the teaching they experienced.
The GUG ratings are collated by the Good Education Group, a leading independent provider of high-quality education and career information, empowering students and job seekers to achieve their goals.

Specific study areas at Swinburne were recognised, including:
- Nursing, which received a 5-Star rating in every available category;
- Business which was awarded a 5-Star rating in the categories of overall experience and learner engagement; and
- Teacher Education, which received a 5-Star rating in the categories of overall experience and teaching quality.
Strong graduate outcomes
Swinburne graduates also excelled at securing jobs paying higher than median salaries in the areas of:
- Business and Management
- Psychology
- Social work
