The research revealed that the opening of an on-site microwave oven door mid-cooking was creating peryton signals at the telescope.
It also revealed that the microwave ovens could not have caused the fast radio burst detected earlier in the year.
Much of the media coverage about this work centred around ‘alien signals’ proving to be something more mundane.
