In Summary

In a bid to provide students greater certainty, Swinburne will offer a pre-budget fee guarantee to domestic undergraduate students who enrol in 2014.

In the 2016 year, students who commenced their course in Semester 2, 2014 will be subject to similar fee conditions as those who began their studies in Semester 1, 2014.

Swinburne Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Linda Kristjanson said Swinburne’s fee guarantee will provide students commencing Semester 2, 2014 the opportunity to avoid the impact of the Federal government’s proposed funding changes that are expected to take place in 2016.

“In a time of uncertainty, it is important that our students who begin their course in 2014 are given clarity so they can focus on their studies and not worry about how the proposed budget changes may affect their fees,” Professor Kristjanson said.

To be eligible for the Fee Guarantee students must enrol by the Semester 2 2014 census date, and remain in the same course. Only Swinburne’s Commonwealth Supported Bachelor degree students will be eligible for the fee guarantee.
