Study tour overview

This project will provide you with the knowledge and experience of working on real-life industry projects in socio-cultural context within the Indo-Pacific region of Fiji. The project, developed in partnership with a large conglomerate based in Suva, will have you working alongside business students in multidisciplinary teams to solve real business problems supported by academic coaches and industry mentors.  

You will undertake a two-week posting in Fiji immersing yourself in the local culture and business environment, working on the assigned project, and strengthening business skills. You will gain practical insights into market context, resources, products, services, and logistic arrangements in Indo-Pacific business environment. Notable similarities in the business environments in Fiji and other Asian countries will open-up business and career opportunities to work in the Asia and Pacific region. After returning, you can be considered ambassadors for the future student mobility program, enhancing your leadership capabilities.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Must have completed or be enrolled in BUS30031- Sustainable Business Practice when applying.

Program cost includes:
