Peer Mentoring services
Our friendly team of student Peer Mentors volunteers are here to help you settle in!
Starting university can be a big adjustment. It might be your first time living away from home or settling into a new city - possibly thousands of kilometres from friends and family. As a Swinburne student, you don’t have to navigate this alone. You have access to Peer Mentors who can provide guidance, answer questions, and help you feel connected as you settle in.
What is a Peer Mentor?
Swinburne’s volunteer Peer Mentors are middle year students. They act as a supportive guide who shares personal insights and experiences to help first-year students navigate university life and settle in. Peer Mentors offer encouragement, foster connections, and refer students to support services to help them excel and enhance their student experience.
