Postgraduate Education | course induction

Orientation is your essential first step to starting your course with confidence. Designed to set you up for success, this session gives you practical insights into what to expect, how to prepare for placement and how to make the most of your time at Swinburne. 

Led by the Course Director, Orientation also gives you the opportunity to meet your teaching teams for the first unit along with the team who will guide you through the course structure from day one. 

Students who attend Orientation feel more prepared and organised. You’ll get a head start by completing key documentation and verifications early, familiarising yourself with course systems and expectations and mapping out your years ahead. 

You’ll also connect with your new classmates, take part in a guided campus tour, and learn about the support services available to help you thrive throughout your studies.
