Swinburne New Educator Induction for Sessional Educators

New Educator Induction: for sessional educators not convening a unit

Designed for educators new to the University, this induction will assist new sessional educators to navigate Swinburne's structure, policies and initiatives, educational practices and other important information.

This 2.5-hour induction will consist of two short online components (15 mins each on Canvas) and one 2-hour online session, 90 minutes from EIX and 30 minutes from the schools.

The final hour will include a welcome from the schools' Associate Deans of Education, as well as relevant information for sessional staff, including an introduction to the Swinburne sessional hub, the process of submitting timesheets and other important administrative matters.
