Looking for a part-time or casual job?

Swinburne's International Student Job Club can help prepare you. In this seminar, you can learn about:

  • job search strategies
  • common jobs for students
  • job application tips
  • pay rates
  • workplace rights and responsibilities

Our guest speakers are Gabrielle Marchetti (Solicitor, Job Watch) and Marlen Mantovani (Engagement Officer, Victoria's Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions) who will advise you on workplace rights and responsibilities (including Sick Pay Guarantee) and employment scams to watch out for.

There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions.

For the best experience, we recommend joining us in person in lecture theatre TD121 on the Hawthorn campus. Please register your attendance – simply find this event on the list and make a booking.

Alternatively, you can join online via Zoom. If you are joining online, please include your name and student ID in the chat when you log in, so we can mark your attendance.
