Session details

You’ll attend not one but two different workshops and see how you could explore your passion for creativity at uni. Choose from:

Think you can invent the next TikTok? Work in groups to invent a new social media platform, with help and advice from current Swinburne social media students.

Work in teams as you learn how to think like a creative advertising pro with Wash-a-Pig, a little card game designed to inspire big ideas.

According to traditional Aboriginal beliefs, the Bunyip is a man-eating monster that lives in waterways throughout Australia. But what does it look like? Create your own collage using experimental image-making techniques and materials to bring your Bunyip to life.

See how architects combine simple materials with advanced technology to create abstract designs. Push the limits of your creativity as you explore 2D and 3D forms in imaginary spaces.

How do you make a snail go faster? With biomimicry, of course! Learn how elements of nature can be used to solve complex human problems, then use your newfound design skills to create a ‘super snail’.

Compete against other students to design and build the lightest LEGO® catapult that can launch an object the furthest.
