Analysis of Scattered Light Distribution and Radiation Force for a Strongly Illuminated Particle near a Surface

In this talk, the electromagnetic field distribution and radiation force for a spherical particle near a substrate are analysed. An analysis method which is capable of calculating the multiscattering between the particle and the substrate is developed. The analysis is necessary for discussing the resolution and accuracy of the measurement systems using laser trapped particle as a probe.
