Reporting an incident

Reporting an incident ensures that victims of assault get the help they need. Looking out for one another by speaking up can save lives.

You can report an incident by completing our online form or emailing safercommunity@swinburne.edu.au.

You can also discuss your concerns with the Safer Community team before submitting a report by emailing us. We will then connect you with personalised support services.

Security services

If you're feeling unsafe our security team offers a free escort service after hours.

This means you can request a security officer to walk with you to your car, the train station or another part of campus.

The Swinburne campus is a reasonably safe environment, but we encourage you to be alert and aware of your surroundings: keep valuables with you at all times and walk in well-lit areas in pairs or groups if possible.
