Exam venues and seating
Be sure to plan ahead and know well in advance of your exam date how to get to your exam venue. Try to arrive at your exam venue with 30 minutes to spare and make sure you can find your exam room.
For live updates on current conditions that may affect travel to exam venues, check the PTV real-time travel information.
There are two Melbourne exam venues used for local Swinburne exams:
The venue for each of your exams is listed on your personal exam timetable.
These exam venues are in the Melbourne metropolitan area and easily accessible by public transport.
If you must travel between the two venues using public transport, plan ahead and allow plenty of time. It’s possible to have two exams scheduled in two different exam venues within the same 24hr period (note: this is not considered a timetable clash).
Hawthorn Online students based outside Melbourne
If you are a Hawthorn Online student who lives more than 150 kilometres from Melbourne, your exams will be held at a venue close to your permanent address. Check your email in Week 8 for your exam timetable and venue information.
