About the scholarship

Summary

The Swinburne Community Bank Leadership Scholarship, funded by Community Bank Inner East, supports an undergraduate student in health or education who demonstrates leadership, community spirit, and volunteering.

Through financial assistance, it helps students focus on their studies and reach their potential. Community Bank Inner East, owned by local people, has contributed over $10 million in sponsorships and grants since 2003 to strengthen local communities.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

  • an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident.
Enrolment criteria

Applicants must be:

  • a continuing second year or above Swinburne student in Semester 1, 2027
  • enrolled full time or part time in any of the following Swinburne undergraduate (single or double degree) courses:

    Bachelor of Nursing
    Bachelor of Education (Primary)
    Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary)
    Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching)
    Bachelor of Health Science
    Bachelor of Health Science (Honours)
    Bachelor of Health Science (Professional)
    Bachelor of Nutrition
    Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
    Bachelor of Psychological Sciences
    Bachelor of Health Science (Psychology and Psychophysiology major)
    Bachelor of Health Science (Psychology and Forensic Science major)
    Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science
    Bachelor of Biomedical Science

  • studying on-campus.
