The September intake is only available to students beginning the first semester of their degree. Please note that advanced standing (academic credit for prior study, work or life experience) is unavailable for this intake.

Frequently asked questions
You are an international student if you are not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident.
You are also considered an international student if you are on a temporary visa such as student visa, bridging visa and business visa.
You can start a UniLink diploma or the Swinburne Foundation Program as early as October 2026. The Postgraduate Qualifying Program is available even sooner in August 2026.
We offer multiple intakes for ELICOS throughout the year, including in September.
