OzGrav Mission Gravity incursions
What is OzGrav Mission Gravity incursion?
In this 90-minute incursion, the OzGrav team meet students in their classroom to tour the universe. The program combines classic scientific modeling with immersive virtual reality. Students collaborate to create a model of stellar evolution by making observations on a VR trip to the stars.
Your students will use the laws of physics and the freedom of virtual reality to learn about how stars change over time, as well as the tools scientists use to study them.
Vist the OzGrav website to find out more about this program.
Students will explore
An immersive virtual reality journey through the stars
How scientists use modelling to study complex phenomena
The power of collaboration in real-world scientific research
