Find your edge

An eye for innovation and the ability to lead others boldly into new territories: These instincts can be taught. We teach them. And that’s what makes us different.

Swinburne’s Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship (AGSE) offers much more than the practical and experiential business management and leadership courses for which we are renowned.

We provide a holistic and academically rigorous learning experience, valuable networking opportunities, and projects co-designed and co-delivered with industry partners.

As a busy professional, you need flexibility, so we offer postgraduate, professional development and short courses.

Our master programs also include options with a wide range of specialisations and electives so you can tailor your study experience with subjects ranging from artificial intelligence to venture planning.

An introduction to the AGSE

Our research strength

One of the core challenges in entrepreneurship and innovation is supporting your brand-new ideas and concepts with evidence. Our AGSE courses are based in research that’s constantly updated by our world-class researchers, who are exploring impactful business and societal issues.

Entrepreneurial ecosystem

Since starting the first school of entrepreneurship, Swinburne has built an ecosystem that supports new thinking, ideas and opportunities. AGSE courses connect you to our Innovation Precinct experts from the Digital Innovation Lab, Innovation Hub, Business Incubator and Entrepreneur-in-Residence.

We value all that you’ve already accomplished through study or your working life so far. Academic credits are available for relevant professional experience and qualifications. Credits can shorten the time to graduation and get you qualified sooner.

"I had an idea, quit my job, and enrolled in the AGSE. I loved the practicality of the course. And it helped me take my own idea, RefLIVE, from start-up to the number one technology of choice for referees in over 80 countries."
