Aims and objectives

This unit aims to provide training to research students through a series of workshops, which involve in training various skills, writing and submission of conference and journal papers, and book chapters. By doing so, it is expected that the students will be able to acquire sound knowledge and develop practical skills to effectively conduct their research activities and present their research outcomes to academic communities.

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Apply ethical practices & operate with integrity in research
2. Apply particular knowledge and skills to conduct research
3. Present research outcomes in terms of conference papers, journal papers and book chapters.
4. Prepare for a future research role in academia elsewhere.
