The Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology (Professional) can lead to a range of roles – from computer programmer to network security practitioner – across a variety of sectors. Gain the skills to power up your career potential and get the professional edge with a 12-month paid work placement as part of your degree.

Develop your problem-solving capabilities and your understanding of generic and specialised software tools. Learn how to identify gaps in ICT solutions, analyse and assess appropriate options and make recommendations accordingly.

In state-of-the-art labs boasting 17 network racks and 700 Cisco devices at your disposal, you’ll study computer and network configurations, web and app programming, and database design and maintenance – plus much more.

Our impressive selection of majors enables you to specialise in an area of your choosing. Hone your skills in software development and programming with Software Technology, deepen your understanding of deployment of secure network systems with Network Technology, or dive into the implementation of information systems with Information technology.

You’ll maximise your career potential through our Work Integrated Learning program, which guarantees real industry experience through placements, internships and industry-linked projects. In this course you’ll undertake six projects – one per semester – and each will build on the last. This Professional Degree also includes a mandatory 12-month paid work placement.
