How to enrol
Congratulations for being accepted to Swinburne! Now that you’ve received your offer from us, it’s time to enrol! We know the enrolment process can be confusing. Use this step-by-step process to enrol online as a new or continuing local or international student.
Are you a new or continuing student?
All continuing students
Welcome back to Swinburne! It’s time to begin the next phase in your academic journey and enrol as a continuing student. Let’s get to it!
New students
Received your Letter of Offer to study here at Swinburne? Great! It’s time to enrol and leap into the next exciting chapter of your life.
But first, we need to know if you’re a new local or new international student as the enrolment process is little different. If you’re a continuing student, you can skip this bit and get straight to enrolling as a continuing student.
Local students
You are a local student if you are an:
Australian citizen
Australian permanent resident
Humanitarian visa holder
or a New Zealand citizen.
International students
You are an international student if the categories used to classify local students don't apply to you
Vaccination status
In response to Victoria reaching the 80 per cent fully vaccinated target, Swinburne has reopened its campuses to fully vaccinated staff and students. Students who are attending campus or are required to undertake a placement in aged care, healthcare, or teacher education as part of their course, will be required to provide evidence to Swinburne of being fully vaccinated (or valid medical exemption).
This must be provided before attending campus or participating in university study outside of the home.
Students commencing in 2022 will receive information via email on how to record their vaccination status prior to their course commencement.
What are you going to study?

Certificate, diploma, or dual diploma courses
