Overview

Thisunit enables students to draw on the sub-disciplines of exercise and sports science to address a specific contemporary issue from Industry that integrates technology and develops their employability skills. Students will be able to develop their problem solving, innovation, communication and entrepreneurial skills by working within a collaborative team environment to respond to the brief/issue.

Learning outcomes

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

  • Communicate scientific data at an appropriate level to the audience
  • Integrate knowledge of and skills from the sub-disciplines of exercise, sport science, technology and data to respond to a contemporary industry-based problem or issue
  • Develop collaborative, problem solving skills applicable to the exercise and sport science industry to find an innovative solution to meet the client’s needs
