Overview

This unit builds on skills developed in the pre-requisite units to conduct a small research project and present findings in written form. Students will build their knowledge and skills of data collection and analysis, develop skills in critical writing, data presentation, and critical reasoning regarding their research.

Content

Guided by their participation in group supervision students will collect data in the manner approved by the Swinburne HREC, collate that data in a database, design a data analysis plan and undertake descriptive and inferential data analysis. This unit will focus on completion of a written empirical paper presenting the research findings.
