Biography

Professor Blair Kuys is currently Department Chair (Head) of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design within the Faculty of Health, Arts and Design at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. Associate Professor Blair Kuys completed a PhD with the CSIRO and Swinburne University of Technology in 2010. He is an active researcher and has been instrumental in working alongside scientists, manufacturers and engineers to promote the benefits of industrial design for new product developments. Associate Professor Blair Kuys has successfully been awarded six Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Community Engagement (2008), Teaching - Higher Education (2009), Sustainability (2010), Internationalisation (2011), Research - Early Career (2012) and Industry Engagement (2014). These awards highlight his strong commitment to important values for Swinburne University of Technology showing commitment and leadership across all portfolios.
