To apply for a postgraduate course at Swinburne simply follow the step-by-step process outlined below:

Online Application
Our online application form allows you to complete your entire application online. Your application will be sent directly to us.
*If you decide to apply online, there is no need to follow the rest of the steps in this page.
Step 1 - Select the appropriate application form or apply online
If you do not wish to apply online, please select your preferred form and enter your name and email address. Once you've done this we'll provide a link to the form and send a copy to your email address.

Step 2 - Gather your supporting documentation
You will need to attach certified and translated copies of previous academic results and proof of name and citizenship to your application.
You will also need to attach any other relevant documents or supporting information as required - this might include letters from your schools or employers, a curriculum vitae, folio or research proposal.
Supplementary Forms
You may need to complete an application supplementary form depending on the specific requirements of your course.
You will find information about these requirements under "Application Procedure" in the How to Apply section of each course entry.
Step 3 - Complete and submit the application form
Return the completed form and all supporting documentation to:

Step 4 - Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation letter once we receive your application. We'll then advise you of the outcome of your application.
If your application is successful, we'll send you a letter of offer. You should then notify Swinburne whether you intend to accept or decline your offer via email at enrol@swin.edu.au
Step 5 - Enrolment
You will receive an enrolment package from your faculty or school with detailed information on what steps you need to undertake to enrol in your program.
If you do not receive your enrolment pack shortly after you receive your letter of offer, please use the contact details supplied in your letter of offer to have your enrolment pack re-issued.
