Multimedia describes the utilisation of sophisticated
graphics, animation, text, audio and video
technologies to produce interactive applications
such as websites, 3D visualisations and animations,
films and computer games.

Prepares you for employment within a broad
range of multimedia environments.

Students may complete a stand-alone Bachelor
of Multimedia with various different majors,
or combine their Multimedia degree with a Bachelor
of Science or Engineering.

From 2006 onwards, students will have the
opportunity to study multimedia-based subjects
as part of our new Bachelor of Arts (Games
and Interactivity).

Three years full-time study for a single
degree or four to five years full-time study
for a double degree at Hawthorn Campus.

Based Learning in Multimedia (IBL)
Swinburne's Multimedia
courses include an optional Industry-Based
Learning (IBL) year in which you may be placed
in paid, supervised employment as part of
your degree. IBL gives you practical experiences
and a proven advantage in the job market.
